Created for men, Declaration by Cartier explores a Woody Floral Musk scent profile. It debuted in 1998 and was developed by Jean-Claude Ellena.

Opening notes of Bitter Orange, Caraway, Birch, Bergamot, Coriander, Mandarin Orange, Neroli and Artemisia lead into a heart of Guatemalan Cardamom, Pepper, Ginger, Iris, Juniper, Cinnamon, Orris Root and Jasmine. The dry-down is built around Tahitian Vetiver, Tea, Cedar, Leather, Oakmoss and Amber.
